Melamine is an alternative cabinet material that consists of a sheet of particle fiber board coated with a thermally bonded resin coat or otherwise laminated cover material. It is most often seen in contemporary looks and comes in countless styles that are typically prefinished. Laminates are similar in concept to Melamine but are far more resilient and resistant to scratches and other natural wear and tear.
